Scope

The guide on quality management in teaching and learning covers all areas of the University with reference to teaching and learning. It is issued to all members of the University and focuses specifically on all those involved in quality management at the University. It is designed to be the working basis for employees, and summarises important objectives, rules and standards that serve to make up a permanent quality assurance system in the core areas of Student and Academic Services, in particular management processes and service processes. At the same time it also specifically provides new employees with a summary of the structure and procedures at the University of Göttingen, and a precise explanation of quality assurance measures and processes in teaching and learning.

In relation to the remit of Göttingen University Medical Centre, this guide supplements the information provided in the 2009 self-evaluation report and data evaluating the teaching and learning quality management system of the University Medical Centre.
