Developing Degree Programmes: Planning and Establishing, Redeveloping and Closing Degree Programmes
Ensuring good teaching calls not only for the development of high academic quality and the provision of optimal conditions for the organisation of studies and examinations, but also the fundamental task of constantly maintaining teaching programmes that have a high quality and are up-to-date. One issue of essential importance to the autonomy of the University is ensuring that the quality of the range of courses also forms part of its overall plan in cooperation with the Federal State.
In this respect, quality assured and targeted on-going development of the faculties’ study programmes and updating of specialised content is a key part of the University’s quality management system. Therefore the following sections set out the responsibilities, guidelines and processes for setting up, conducting, developing and closing courses and degrees.
