Establishing, Redeveloping and Closing Degree Programmes

As a university with the legal status of a foundation under public law, the University of Göttingen has great autonomy in many fields of activity. At the same time it is the responsibility of the Federal State of Lower Saxony, which also has to be taken into account when planning a study programme.
