Exam Administration
The aim of Exam Administration is to handle examination-related procedures transparently and efficiently for all those concerned. The decentralised Examination Offices of the faculties are the contacts for questions and issues. General questions about the examination system are coordinated by the network of representatives of the Examination Offices and the central FlexNow system support service.
Uniform standards have been agreed throughout the University for examination system processes, competencies and responsibilities. The procedures these cover are supported by the IT systems used at the University. The Exam Administration hereby forms an integral part of Campus Management at the University of Göttingen.
Students and teaching staff use the services on the portal with their University account.
This offers the following services for the examination system:
- The FlexNow exam administration system administers all examination tasks of students on Bachelor and Master degree programmes. The three main user groups, students, teaching staff and Examination Offices, have their own interfaces which are designed to suit the interests and needs of these three user groups.
- Modularised degree programme examination and study regulations have to be continually maintained and updated. Degree programme supervisors and university committees are helped to do this with a digital module register (Modul-VZ).
The statistics portal FlexStat can be used to analyse examination data, in order to evaluate both one’s own performance to date and make general statements to assist with degree programme monitoring. There is an in-depth description of the statistics portal here of the guide.
