Main Evaluation
The main evaluation takes place in the third, penultimate week of lectures of each semester.
In a set timeframe, the faculties’ Offices of the Deans of Studies create the evaluation plan in Stud.IP, taking into account ZEWIL’s offering. Special deadlines (see timetable) apply for evaluations outside the main evaluation phase. After the deadlines have elapsed, the QM department informs teaching staff which courses it is planned to evaluate and details of the evaluation process.
Within a set period, teaching staff have to report any requested adjustments concerning the evaluation period, choice of teacher(s) or choice of type of questionnaire to the QM department. One week before the start of the main evaluation phase, the evaluation plans are checked and finalised by the QM department.
Participants on a course that has to be evaluated can access and complete the questionnaire within the set evaluation period via Stud.IP. As well as an online questionnaire, the concept of Online-in-Präsenz course evaluation involves the evaluation taking place at a time set by the teacher during class time. The relevant timeframe will be notified to participants in advance by teaching staff. Allowance for variations in In-Präsenz evaluation on account of a student being sick, power failures, etc., is generally made with a two-week evaluation phase.
