Procedures and Workflow of Course Evaluation
Since the 2019/20 winter semester, course evaluation at all twelve faculties and the central institutions has taken place “Online-in-Präsenz”. Paper-based evaluations are only held at the discretion of the faculties if there are sound reasons for the exception.
At start of semester the QM department publishes a binding timetable with the relevant dates for course evaluation in that semester. This ensures that evaluations can be carried out in the third, penultimate week of lectures for all courses that take place regularly. As a rule Online-in-Präsenz evaluations are available to students for a period of approx. 14 days. It is recommended that feedback takes place between teaching staff and students in the final week of lectures. Because approx. 20-25 % of the courses that need to be evaluated are organised anticyclically, the deadlines and periods for these vary, and can be viewed in Stud.IP for each course evaluation by those affected.
