Process support
Efficient implementation of the QA system is based on a standardised degree programme report and an effective document management system.
Student and Academic Services keeps standard degree programme reports available for all degree programmes, and these are regularly and automatically generated medium-term, providing key figures in relation to a degree programme, revealing strengths and weaknesses, and stimulating discussion and/or more detailed analysis. The content of the degree programme report has been agreed on with the faculties and future users; it is allready used and regularly updated in the decentralised and central procedures. Currently, it includes individual evaluations on the central questions (e.g. regarding cohort structure, changing subject, graduations and drop-outs, and workload). The degree programme report are constantly being further developed and supplemented as needed.
A beta version of the planned document management system is currently being tested by a group of prospective users to see if it meets the university’s requirements for the QA system, and is expected to be available as a support for decentralised and central procedures from 2022. Access via a Web interface is permitted.
The university is using a software system (ESA, e-student file) which has already been successfully used elsewhere, and is ensuring that all data relevant to accreditation is adequately documented and protected against loss.
